John Kerns, New Bloom Labs
John Kerns is the Co-Founder and CEO of New Bloom Labs, an ISO and DEA Certified hemp testing company with laboratories located in Dallas, Texas and Chattanooga, Tennessee. He also founded and has been the president of Preferred Care at Home of Chattanooga for ten years. John is the immediate past board chair of Welcome Home of Chattanooga, a home for those that have nowhere to go for end of life care. John's career has spanned numerous projects in business and civics, including as a manager of numerous political campaigns, community advocate, and business consultant. He splits his time between Chattanooga and Dallas with his wife Sara, and their dog Banjo.
Jeromy Sherman, Bayou City Hemp Company
Jeromy Sherman is Co-Founder of Bayou City Hemp Company, Inc. which is poised to be Texas’ premier hemp processor. Along with Bayou City Hemp, Inc, he also Co-Founded Leaf Life Wellness, a CBD Cosmetic & Wellness Company. Before starting Bayou City Hemp Company, Inc. and Leaf Life Wellness, Mr. Sherman spent most of his career in the energy sector. He founded several successful startup Oil & Gas Companies. Mr. Sherman also serves as manager of his family farm in Sugar Grove, IL. Mr. Sherman holds an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a BA from Mississippi State University. Outside of his professional career, Jeromy enjoys coaching his kids’ basketball and baseball teams. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
Ben Meggs, Bayou City Hemp Company
Benjamin Meggs, Co-CEO & Co-Founder - Background in private equity and management in the Oil and Gas sector with a proven track record in start-ups and A&D and Co-Owner of Leaf Life Wellness, a CBD retail distributer. Mr. Meggs holds a B.B.A. in Energy Management & Finance from the University of Oklahoma. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife Ashley and their two children.
